Tim Tszyu Sacking His Team
Tim Tazyu has set his eye on five gyms in the US. He will eventually choose one as his new team with their sights Set on him becoming a two-time world champion.
Was it the right decision to sack the team that helped him gain a world title? I think the other question would be, could he have achieved a world title without his now-sacked team?
I think his promotion team lined him up for those previous big fights that ultimately led to a world title. We saw how his cornermen did a bad job in the first Fudora fight. Most other corners would have stopped the fight with a cut that bad, or at least convinced the doctor or referee to call a halt.
I think a team change is a smart option if Tim Tszyu wants to at least have a chance of stepping back into a world title contention.
I’m not too confident he has what it take to gain a world title once again, but he certainly has a much better chance if he finds the right team instead of sticking with his old team.
What are your thoughts?
